hi pieter,

don't want to bother you but i wanted to mention that you missed the updated infs here:

http://forums.laptopvideo2go.com/index.php?showtopic=84

POST 2 AND 3 on that page 6.

You can see it clearly, because they have NOT been downloaded by anyone. They contain all the different and strange subsys from gericom and the TOSHiBA 5100.5200.5250.5600 GPUs

I only want to add sections to my INFs if there are problems with a machine running my normal INF.

The INF would just get unmanagable with all those seperate sections.

It's already a nightmare to try and keep track of.

I might even remove them all, and see if it actually fixes any problems.

I havn't really heard wether the seperate sections for Toshiba actually does anything.

There are still oodles of Toshes with the black-bars.

Pieter.

I should test this because when i install the driver with your inf i can CHOOSE between:

"GeForce4 460 Go" and

"GeForce4 460 Go Toshiba"

because of the different subsys IDs, but i always chosse the GeForce4 460 Go Toshiba, because i have subsys 00011179 and i wanted to make sure that everything is correct.

I will compare the settings between these two models and try installing the normal GeForce4 460 Go and see what happens. I think this requires further investigation...

thanks for the info
