Dox
Guru3D has released v1.0 NV PhysX Tweaker utility for those lucky enough to have PhysX acceleration working on your cards. Version: 1.0 OS supported: Vista x86 Released: 2008/07/04 A small tweak utility to en/disable GeForce PhysX and switch to CPU PhysX.Matuus, our in-house Guru3D NVHardpage programmer stumbled into the same issue I had as well. The NVIDIA PhysX driver once install will activate itself on the GPU, and can not be disabled. Required: Windows Vista 32-bit, GeForce G80/G92/GT200 and NV PhysX drivers This little NV PhysX Tweaker tool will allow you to actually choose to enable or disable the PhysX driver over the GPU and if preferred, the CPU. Very simple, yet very handy. If you have UAC enabled, you must run this software as Administrator. DOWNLOAD

P.J
Does it work on your 8600M GT ? For me it doesn't work :) Edited July 6, 2008 by P.J
Dox
currently physX acceleration on gpu only supports deskto cards on the G92 and G200core, i.e GTX280, GTX260, 9800GTX, 8800GT, 8800GTS 512MB etc.
ByronGman
..... but PhysX can be enabled over the CPU, rather than the GPU? Am I reading that correctly? If so, can a 8600M GT user enable over the CPU using this tool?
Bill
The CPU will already be enabled for you without a physx card or GPU physx. No tweaking is necessary.
Michael Marley
What's the point of making it Vista32 only? How about XP and 64-bit?
Dox
its v 1.0 later versions may have more support. MAY.
RangerXML
G80? That would be the old 8800GTX and 8800GTS which currently isn't support.
