Guest Jarod
Hello everyone, I have a Toshiba Satellite A100 812 and i'm afraid that my graphics card has fried. I was wondering if there is any way i can replace it, ive looked over the internet but im not very experienced with laptop-hardware. fabrikant : NVIDIA®type : NVIDIA® GeForce? Go 7600 geheugengrootte : 256 MB geheugentype : DDR Video RAM aangesloten bus : 16x PCI Express My warranty has expired so if it is not possible i guess the only option is to buy a new laptop right? (except from sending it to Toshiba wich will probably take 5-6 weeks and cost a load of money) Thanks in advance.
hola
This might work for you: http://forums.laptopvideo2go.com/index....showtopic=17097 --IM if interested You can use the G72MV as a replacement for your fried G73 in the A100*, but it will be a bit slower than your original Go7600, as the G72MV is Go7300/7400 class, but nevertheless should work in your laptop. (This G72MV was removed from an A100* laptop and replaced by a G73M (256 MB), and the upgrade worked very well, so it should work the other way round.)
