best driver.. you mean for games? well.. 174.74 is pretty good, 175.80 and 177.** seem ok...

use rivatuner for overclocking.. . have a search thru the app for things you can do.. its got a few options other than overclocking.. has a good hardware monitoring feature.

remember only overclock 10% of what your card is currently.. or after a month or two you'll notice the performance and heat becoming an issue.

you should use 169.04 driver for overclocking and i suggest you use ATITool to find out your max core and memory clocks. also to use rivatuner to overclock you click on system settings (this is for the latest version 2.09) and select enable driver level overclocking.

personally, i run the 174.93 drivers, check out my max clock over there ( <-- ), that's using Rivatuner, so i think these drivers are good :)

That's a step DOWN from his current drivers.

again, try out the 174.93 drivers and realise the 169.09 drivers are too old.

lineage2

174.74=761mraks on 3dmark06

174.93=763mraks on 3dmark06

Yet i noticed 340 difference in 3dmark, as well as 3 added FPS in Assassins Creed..
