Pradege
:) I have a NP9262 with 8800m GTX in SLI, Q6700. These are probably the best drivers i have used to so far for this machine. Current clocks on my Cards are 600Mhz, 900Mhz, 1600Mhz. Current 3Mark06 scores are anywhere between 13650 to 13720. But as far as performance the games i play are Crysis, S.T.A.L.K.E.R., COD4, Eve Online, Frontlines and a few more. Performance in these games have actually gone up in fps just depends on the game but they all have had perfromance gains.
Guest Johnny
What program are you using to OC? I downloaded the drivers from Sager's site (I also have a 9262), but I can't OC with the Nvidia Performance tool. Are you using a different program, or can you enable OC'ing with a modded INF? :) I have a NP9262 with 8800m GTX in SLI, Q6700. Unfortunately due to the motherboard bios being locked out you cannot oc this laptop thru software you will have to flash you video card bios in order to change the default clocks to other values. Guest Johnny
I've actually been able to OC using the Nvidia tool with certain drivers. 175.80 I think I was able to do this. Makes me think that it's something to do with the driver config that locks/unlocks this. However, if I wanted to try OC'ing the new Sager drivers (which work really well for me so far), can I use that NibiTor program listed on the homepage? Did you copy the modded inf into your unzipped installation folder prior to the install?
Guest Just a guest
hi where's the modded inf ?
Guest Johnny
If you're running 64 bit Vista you need a program called ReadyDriver to install unsigned drivers properly. Even if you click 'install anyway' the proper install routines won't work, due to the tighter hardware restrictions on the 64 bit OS. Also, the drivers can be downloaded from http://www.sagernotebook.com. Support section, then under the 9262. I imagine you would just need to replace the INF. bbbobbbo
@Pradege: stupid me! I kinda figured the zipped driver would already be modified (so i presumed the moded inf would already be in there an no need to replace anything) - i'll download the inf and be back with the results soon as i've worked out everything a big thank you @johnny - same here, thank you all for helping
Cyborg
After installing this driver and INF, I lost the mouse on the external DVI LCD display. The mouse still shows on the other (Analog) external LCD display.
