Tusin
I to found that this driver runs cooler on my M1530 w/ 8600M GT. But with that said, 3dmark is only "ok" for comparing drivers. I have found that these drivers are very buggy with TF2.

Guest PsychoTommy
Hi guys, after having installed this (previously I had 177.41), I noticed that all the 16:10 and 16:9 aspect ratio resolutions were gone (except for the native 1280x800). Since I usually take the less resource-consuming 1024 X 640 resolution for 16:10, it is very bad for my gaming... I had to revert to the previous drivers... Can you give me any idea what happened to those resolutions? o_O (I have an Acer 5920G with an nVidia 8600M GS) Any help is greatly appreciated! Or maybe you are used to stuttering?
SteveD
Hi all-new to this forum-linked here from Dell support forum. anyone try this driver with WoW? It's the only game i play, and i just finished the 2nd re-image of this machine in 6 weeks. Unfortunately, i don't know what driver was loaded at last unrecoverable error as Vista "lost" the driver and i let it load whatever prior to crash. Interestingly enough, it lost the driver again after this re-image as well. Won't lose track of driver again. Current spec should be listed left. All crashes have been while playing WoW. Temp and "video driver will not initiate" have been the problems. Thanks

Carpediem
Did anyone try this driver for HP Pavillion TX2000 notebook? Guest Guest
After installing the drivers my Vista experience results went down. Aero from 4.8 to 4.3 and 3D from 5.3 to 5.2. The thing is that I don't remember what driver version I used before. Tried with 174.74 but the experience results stay the same. Strange. AaB-ern
Really nice! Gave me a huge effect on my XPS M1530, both concerning heat and performance! :)

Guest Jeff
Yea I'm getting some weird graphic glitches also on Age of Conan (like my mouth is appearing to the right of my character)... weird stuff like that. If it wasn't for that, I'd definitely stick with it... unfortunately 175.80 is too slow, so I'm having to go back to 177.41. 177.41 kept on crashing for me, but hopefully going to lower the OC settings and maybe that'll help. Guest Yorek
The driver works for my GeForce Go 7600. I'm abble to play Assassin's Creed, witch I was having texture problems with the old driver (97.59). And it's underclocking the GPU when not gaming, keeping the temperature around 44 ºC. Guest Maverick
Asus G2S ... Old drivers 169.06 -> 4351 3dMark06 (1280x864 stock). After installing 177.66 -> 4580 points. Nice drivers. No lag in Eve. :)

Guest Jeff
Can anyone please explain to me why in the world my laptop would be showing weird graphical glitches in Age of Conan? There was one other person who had the same problem in Crysis... Anyone know how to disable this? This is by far the best video driver I've tried, as the 177.41 is almost on-par but crashes. This one doesn't crash and is faster. Does anyone have a solution to fixing this?
