Guest Guest Posted July 13, 2008 Report Share Posted July 13, 2008 So it's been about a year since I bought this, my very first laptop and I was pretty happy about it, though the downside is; it's not a gamer's laptop (geforce8400mg 128 WTF?) so I decided to buy myself a new one since my sister want's buy this one blah blah blah... anyhow, to the point, hope some of you can give me a clear opinion: I'm doubting between 2 models; the HP Pavilion HDX which has a strong system imo http://www.shopping.hp.com/webapp/shopping...name=HDX_series or the area 51m17 http://www.alienware.com/products/area-51-...ode=SKU-DEFAULT the most significant difference between these to is the sli or not they can both be outfitted with the same processor and memory now the thing is; in price they differ about 1000 ? so paying 1000? for only the sli difference in the alien pc is crazy or not? Money is not the issue, I'm just asking, is it really worth it, the sli I mean and will buying it giving it a longer running time with future games which I think is very important to me. and before you start crapping about details i'm wrong about, I'm not really into all this, I just enjoy games :) though I'm glad people like you exist who can give me a good advice^^ thx for the info Hugo Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
