Acer NVIDIA Driver Download für GeForce 9500M GS

I have an Acer Notebook Aspire 7720 G with an NVIDIA Graphiccard GeForce 9500M GS (VISTA SP1)

On the Acer-Support-Site (http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/notebook/as_7720.html) i can download the "VGAdriver_nVidia_v7.15.11.6746(v167.46)_Vistax32.zip"

But, when i unzip and read the INF-File, i can't find an entry for the GeForce 9500 GS.

So, before I try to install this driver: Can this Driver-Installation recognize my Graphiccard, or wound the installation only say that there is no driver for this Graphic-Hardware.

So, where i can find a actually Graphicdriver for my Graphiccard, which i can install without any risk ?

Thanks (and sorry for my a little bit funny english)

Dont worry much about the card being recognized. If the drivers install, you are good to go.

However, if the drivers fail to install, get drivers from the main page of this forum: http://www.laptopvideo2go.com and make sure to download the INF file. It is all in the main page at the top.

Thanks for your quick answer,

but on the Top of the mainpage, on the right side there is a 167.45 as latest Driver for Vista 32

When i go in the download-Section there i can download a 169.09 for Vista 32

Sorry, i don't understand this difference.

Can you help me ?

And in the nVision > News, FAQ & NVIDIA Drivers > GeForce Driver Releases > Release 177 drivers there is a 177.xx driver to download

Now i don't understand anything.

And sorry, where is the difference between OEM and not OEM-Drivers ?

The problem you are seeing is that the "Downloads" page is out of date. (and has been for quite a while.) We hope to get this fixed soon, but until then, you can always find the latest drivers here. Currently, the latest (and recommended) driver for your card is this one.

OEM means drivers provided by your manufacturer. Non-OEM are general drivers, not tailored for your specific system, but sometimes they work better.
