Gom player using ffdshow rev 1960 codec and postprocessing is working ( left side )

Windows Media Player 11 using Nvidia Pure Video Decoder ( right side )

My laptop is Sony Vaio VGN-FE11H with Go 7400

Which one is your best in playing HD movies?

There seems to be quite a difference in your shots. are they running the same settings like gamma and RGB channels?

Nvidia looks a little crisper. So thats what i go with.

I agree with wook - the nvidia decoder is first rate. I use it for all mpeg/dvd decoding and ffdshow for everything else.

Ffdshow is up to version 2063 now, so you might want to try a newer version. Also, ffdshow works well with WMP, which would allow for a more direct comparison.
