Guest pmoney
We just got new mac book pros for school. We have a 4 year warranty (grad school is 4 years long)...With the problems with the 8xx series GPUs overheating, if I get an overheating problem, will I still be warrantied if they find out I was not using the driver that came with the mac? Apple doesnt release drivers for vista, just whats included with bootcamp and on their leopard cd... Trust me I'm not happy about having to buy the mac, but we really didnt have a choice. and on a completely unrelated note, why is Vista's clock such garbage. Jumps 4 hours randomly, loses time often. Andrew55
No, they are meant for that. They will not void your warranty. And on a completely unrelated note, I don't notice that clock problem.
Dox
software updates that damage your card will be underwarranty, stuff like overclocking will void if you damage it by overclocking however stuff like updating ur video card is fine and be underwarranty
