Thanks dudes for making these drivers abailable to us! :)

This driver works great, just like the 177.83 did. Didn't notice any better performance yet.

But it's also not worser than the 177.83 driver. So to me this driver is just the best because it's also

the latest whoehoe!! very happy :)

My 3DMARK06 score is: 3023 with my 8600M GS 512MB Ddr2

Apologies guys, got up at a heinous time this morning (4:30am) and did this driver.

In my effort to fix nVidia's international control panel problem I made a small blunder in the INF

This has been fixed in version ; Pieter's INF version 3.265b

Sorry for the inconveniance :)

I'm confused! Which INF do I need to use?

After 5 minutes of playing, there is a big stuttering. That's really bad. I found no solution yet.

This didn't help: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread...M+GT+stuttering

These aren't underclocking and stuttering like 177.79 with powermizer off from my experience so far. Things do get fairly bad at points but within a few seconds the framerate returns to normal.

How do I stop underclocking in the first place on DELL 1520...

Yes even though i switch off the powermizer completly by forcing constant 3d clockrate, i did experience few second loading or graphic hang with low framerate after sometime on Mass Effect but the performance came back a few second later.

By the way i'm using 174.12

Try forcing the constant framerate

I found these topic "Periodic 1 second lag - I fixed it!" here http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=170763

Go to Nvidia Control Panel and Manage 3D Settings then Texture Filtering - Negative LOD bias then Set it to Clamp.

all that does is stop games with negative LOD from using negative LOD which porvides a better Image quality since its a nice blend of making the image not too blurry (performance booster) and not too sharp (aliasing whils moving)
