GPU sizzling

Sometimes when i play games my GPU makes a sizzling sound. Is it dangerous for the GPU and can it be removed.

Are you sure it is the GPU and not the CPU? Sounds to me like it might be improper thermal paste application.

Yes i'm sure it is GPU. It happens with almost every 3d application.The sizzling is different in every application.

Without temperature readings, a proper conclusion cannot be made so if you post them a proper conclusion will most likely come up.

Idle GPU: 55 C

CPU: 47-50 C

Under load GPU: 85 C (max)

CPU: 69-72 C

Its been sizzling for couple of months. My notebook used to bee cooler then.

That is somewhat hot for the 8600m GT. You should probably complain to your manufacturer about getting multiple images and artifacts, and then they will replace your GPU for you.
