Quubik
Sometimes when i play games my GPU makes a sizzling sound. Is it dangerous for the GPU and can it be removed. Thanks in advice.
Michael Marley
Are you sure it is the GPU and not the CPU? Sounds to me like it might be improper thermal paste application.
Quubik
Yes i'm sure it is GPU. It happens with almost every 3d application. The sizzling is different in every application.

Andrew55
Without temperature readings, a proper conclusion cannot be made so if you post them a proper conclusion will most likely come up.
Quubik
Idle GPU: 55 C CPU: 47-50 C Under load GPU: 85 C (max) CPU: 69-72 C Its been sizzling for couple of months. My notebook used to bee cooler then.
Michael Marley
That is somewhat hot for the 8600m GT. You should probably complain to your manufacturer about getting multiple images and artifacts, and then they will replace your GPU for you.
