PhysX on GeForce 8700m GT

Hi there,

Just got the latest PhysX-enabled drivers (177.83) and cannot find out how to install/activate the GeForce PhysX.

I downloaded the drivers from nVidia, I used a modded inf (one that includes the 8700m GT, then tried the Kulu configuration tool, and it says:

No Acceleration (CPU)

GeForce PhysX - and thats greyed out.

So I installed the latest PhysX manually (PhysX_8.08.01_SystemSoftware.exe), goto the configuration screen for Kulu and GeForce PhysX is still greyed out.

I have then gone into nVidia PhysX Properties (under all programs) and I have GeForce PhysX selected on the settings tab under hardware device selection.

Am I doing somthing wrong, or doesnt PhysX work with the 8700m GT??

Sounds to me like you have PhysX enabled and working.

Hmmmm... Maybe I do..... but in the Kulu demo its has the other options greyed out, and the only configuration option to select is CPU. I have posted a couple of screens to show everybody, maybe its a problem with Kulu....

It must be, because PhysX is definitely enabled.

Cheers mate,

It turns out the Kulu demo requires 200-series GPU, if not it runs on CPU. Cheers :)
