TomsTom Posted August 25, 2008 Report Share Posted August 25, 2008 hi, i just installed on my dell xps 1530 windows xp. everything worked fine until i got to the graphic driver installation. i didn't know about the problems with the gerforce 8600m gt and windows xp. but when i found this site. i wanted to install the latest driver but windows said that there might be a problem with that driver right now or in the future. i installed it anyway. right now i have a problem with my second monitor (samsung synchmaster 2493hm). the "normal" resolution should be 1920x1200. but i can only choose a max resolution of 1920x1080. is there a solution for this problem? do i just have to try some other drivers?
