Guest Guest
Hi, i own a xps 1730 8800gtxsli and i just bought a new 24inch wide scren monitor philip 240bw and i have noticed flickering lines at some parts of the screen at some points during gaming for eg: warcraft 3 main menu the words have flickering lines and crysis, where exploded tanks on fire cause the screen to flicker.. assassin's creed loading also has flickers.. if i disable sli the problem goes off but i would like to make use of my sli setup.. is there any way to solve this? the philips tech support insists that its my drivers/card settings. I have no such problems on my laptop screen. I am using 177.89 now and tried 177.83 and 174.31 as well but the problems still occur. any idea whats the cause? vertical sync doesnt help. if not gaming, no such problems occur.. the resolution on the screen is 1920x1200@60hz, same as my laptop screen. Michael Marley
Is the monitor connected using VGA or DVI?
