You can dowload the lastest XP 32bit nvidia driver (177.92) from this page,

Don't forget to replace the old inf with the one you can download

if you're looking for xp-drivers for your laptop, take a look at this site:

ftp://ftp.vaio-link.com/pub/OS/XPdowngrade/

there you can find drivers for different vaios.

if you can read and understand german then have a look at this site:

http://notebookforum.at/sony-vaio-forum/16...p-auf-fz11.html

there you can find a guide for downgrading a fz11, which helped me with my fz21m

if you need a decision support for the pick of the graphics driver, here are my benchmarks:

DMark06 (1028x800, no AA) results:

177.66: 2826

177.70: 2844

177.73: 2847

177.79: 2848

177.83: 2851 (version with 177.79 inf)

177.83: 2847 (version with 177.83 inf)

177.89: 2848 (without ogl3 and physx)

177.92: 2851

hope i could help a bit

Hi I have a Sony Vaio NR38Z with a nvidia 8400M GT gfx.

I have tried 6 drivers now and they've all said that it is not compatible with any hardware...

"You can dowload the lastest XP 32bit nvidia driver (177.92) from this page,

I see you can trick the install with replacing the INF files - how do I find the right file for my card and how do I modify it?
