(under windows) so you can stop programs and services that are unnecessary and take up CPU and memory. I have over half of my services off. just the minimum like bluetooth, wireless(networking), nvidia enabled. as far as apps. i have everything off except norton security. i can disable that when i play games. makes my system so much faster. type msconfig in the run diaglog box. press the 'start' button /run or under vista just type msconfig in the search box Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
