SLI driving me nuts !

Guys whatsup !

I have been using Vista for a while on my Alienware M9700 and had issues with SLI but i thought that it was probably because of Vista itself...

I reverted to XP SP3 and this stuff is killing me...

When i enable SLI, and open an application which is in JAVA the screen starts blinking and blinking and it doesn't stop until i minimize the application...

Secondly, when I play World In Conflict (only game ive tried so far) it plays well for a little bit then i get the blue screen of death...

I dont know if its a memory problem or what, and i have used a couple drivers...

Thanks

by the sounds of things..you may have to look here and get drivers that are about a year old.

http://support.alienware.com/Support_Pages...9&item=1005

according to dissucssions on here and else where, they are the only ones that work with SLi

there is also a vista fix for SLi cards (SP1)

http://www.nvidia.co.uk/object/windows_vis...otfixes_uk.html

are you overclocking? if so then crank it down a bit, as this (heat) is a major cause of bluescreens

Actually im using Xp Pro SP3 not vista...

I reverted back to the 163.75 drivers which are said in many forums to be the most stable with SLi and still nothing...

it may be the SLI performance mode you're using, try alternate frame rendering 2 or 1.

I would also set the sli mode in the nvidia game profile itself
