Neonpt Posted September 16, 2008 Report Share Posted September 16, 2008 (edited) I have a 8400 gs and i am using Vista x32, it seams i can only overclock with the 169.04 Drivers, with any other drivers ( i am using 174.31 to play The Witcher ) Riva Tuner switches back to default after i close the window. In a quick search i find a lot of people with the same problem, but i cant seem to find a solution for it. I have installed with the "have disk" method, and i used Driver Sweeper in safe mode between the driver upgrade. What can i do to solve my problem? i am using Riva Tuner 2.10 Thank you. Michael Marley Posted September 17, 2008 Report Share Posted September 17, 2008 Have you tried using the 177.xx series? These driver work fine for me when overclocking. However, sometimes some drivers work for overclocking some cards but not for others. You should just see what gives you the best balance of speed and overclockability.
