What do you reckon is the highest (safest) temperature to OC up to? So far I've been going up to 90 (deg. C), haven't passed that so far...

Ok temperature droped after clean by 20C, Sony Vaio T7500 2.2GHz 8600M GS GDDR3(185.20):

post-35155-1231996832_thumb.jpg

3dmark06: 4010 3DMarks with 1280x800 resolution, max temperature was 75C

3dmark06: 4487 3DMarks with 1024x768 resolution, max temperature was 75C

:)

OK, now, 100% overclocked!!!

post-35155-1231996856_thumb.jpg

3dmark06: 1024x768... freeze :)

GTA IV: 20~ fps, well still have textures problem, with DOX's 180.84 problem is gone, but fps drop to 14~

Also, what i can say, it's not a gaming laptop, but perfomance with small cooler just incredible, playing NFS ProStreet or Undercover with highest settings 1024x768 no probs at's all...

Woah, that's impressive! :P My laptop's relatively new so I doubt I'll have to clean it, or do i? on Prostreet (with everything on high, except AA and on 1024x768) I get to 89 deg max.

But then again, we have different laptops, so the comparison isn't so reliable...

Why are you using this 169.04 driver... the new dox drivers should enable OC too, and you will receive extra performance.. it's on 1024x768 resolution, so its gonna be a much higher score then on 1280x800 ... send a score on 1280x800 :)

And don`t forget about your 2.4 GHz CPU :) , which gives you about 300+ scores comparing to 2.0 GHZ. My CPU score in 3D Mark06 is 1748 and yours is 2147

My last attemp :)

4127 score(1280x800)3dmark 06

I got only T8100 , if i would have T8300 the score will be increase by 300-400points.

Hey, some of you guys got the LG-P300 (Canada Model) like me.

For a long time, I've been stuck using 169.04 drivers since any more recent driver would fail to overclock, due to the notebook's BIOS Lock.

How come it's started working for you guys?

And can anyone give me the link for the specific drivers that overclock for your LG P300 models?

Thanks in advance!

I got LG P300 from futureshop. I got troubles with OC too, but i installed Dox drivers 181.22 and problem has gone. My 8600GS can be overclocked on every 18x.xx driver, but best for me is 181.22, sometimes it isn't stable, but it allows me to 30% OC :) .

Up to 1024 MB Nvidia GeForce 8600M GS TurboCache
