From what specs, 9600m GT is exactly the same with 9700m GT (not sure with the cooling pads though). The difference only on the core & shader clock. 9600m GT 500/1250/800 core/shader/mem 9700m GT 625/1550/800 core/shader/mem both cards compared are DDR3 card. Yeah,everything is fine exept that noone as far as i know was able to get BIOS of that cards. I ve only saw 9600m GT DDR3 bios around. But still,there is no softrawe that can flash it. Using NiBitor, modify BIOS my self, and then flash it with NVflash But the ID is still 9600m GT... anyway, same performance level. Temp is going up to 90 (crysis med setting).... anyone knows is this still safe??? No problems playing other "lighter and hardware friendly" games.
