Reid
Cool! DELL 1530 xp sound driver with ASIO(moddified) Hi all guys:) I have a dell xps 1530 laptop, but the driver is simple and imperfect:( So I modify it and add the ASIO support for it. I have tried it in FOOBAR2000 and Adobe Audition 3.0, ensure it's working. All of you can try it and welcome to any feedback here. I cann't upload the attachment, so I can just found a webserver to store it. You can down it here http://hpro.vicp.net/down/1530_asio_byReid.rar It's for XP
Michael Marley
Just out of curiosity, how did you mod the drivers to enable ASIO support? I have my own set of modded SigmaTel/IDT drivers, and I am interested in adding this functionality as well.
Shakey_Jake33
Could topic starter consider making one for m1330? Or let Michael know how it's done? I'm using ASIO4ALL right now, but native ASIO would be great!
Shakey_Jake33
Just so people know, you can now use Reclock to gain Kernel Streaming in programs like Media Player Classic.
mobilenvidia
Vista and XP modded drivers have support for this feature in the New CP. Not sure how well it works but it's on the advanced page. Only issue is that I've enabled so many settings they don't all fit on the page and the ASIO settings are now hardly visible (off the page)
Gix
See my comments here about the procedure to enable ASIO: http://forums.laptopvideo2go.com/index....mp;#entry114832 But I saw that the archive 1530_asio_byReid is not including the ASIO driver itself (asiosthd.dll), so I don't know if it really works. Note that this Sigmatel ASIO driver doesn't seem to be any better than ASIO4ALL (around 14 ms latency for a typical SONAR project).
