Sony Z570 - external monitor - vertical viewing ... pls help

Hi,

I have a Sony Z570, I hook up to an external (HP) monitor. The monitor allows me to turn it so it sits vertical. The Nvidia software on my Z doesn't have an option to 'rotate display' ?

I also have an LG P300 notebook, when I go into the Nvidia control panel on it, there is an option there to 'rotate display'.

The version of the Nvideo software on the Sony is 1.5.700.23

On the LG notebook that allows me to switch to vertical the sofware version is 1.5.700.44

Can I upgrade to that version, if so how?

Or, is there a way I can update the Nvidia software on my Sony so I can rotate the display.

I called Sony they told me to contact Nvidia, and Nvidia didn't reply to me, (yet anyways and its' been a week)

I would recommend updating your Nvidia drivers to 178.13. This should correct your problem.
