Guest deviant.zero
I'm just curious, but what is the reason behind the drivers from the Nvidia website are bigger than those found here. For example, I'm looking at the GeForce Release 178.13 for Vista 32-bit on the Nvidia site and the size of the driver is 86.9 MB. Then I look at what seems to be the same driver here, the size is 33.96MB. Why is there so much of a difference?
Guest deviant.zero
Ok I extracted both and the one from the Nvidia site is 92MB and the one from here is 101MB. Closed the gap by alot, but still, whats the difference?
Doug2h
Nvidia drivers has the Physx driver with the video driver. It is removed and zipped smaller to host on server here. Edited September 28, 2008 by Doug2h
Guest deviant.zero
Ahhhh ok, thanks alot! Just wondering if the one from here was like a super special edition or something ^_^
Michael Marley
The drivers here are 7-zipped. 7-zip is wonderful for reducing filesizes. The reason that the extracted file (from here) is bigger is that we distribute the International version rather than the US English version. This has more files in it.
