Nuggstein
Hello. I am currently running the nvidia CUDA driver v177.81, and the latest physx driver. I have a 9500M GS, 2.2GHz Core 2 Duo, and 3 GB of RAM. I tried the fluid demo, and the demo runs at like 2 FPS. Geforce PhysX IS ENABLED. It makes no sense. What should I do to fix this? Should I change my drivers? Thanks. Edited October 7, 2008 by Nuggstein
Michael Marley
This sounds about right. It doesn't run much faster than that on my 8600m GT.
Nuggstein
Shouldn't it be running rather smoothly?
Michael Marley
It uses alot of 3D power, so I don't think it should run very fast unless you have very powerful graphics.
Bill
I have never had any trouble running the fluid demo relatively smoothly. Right now I'm on the 177.92 drivers. I think it even runs smoothly using only 1 CPU or 1 8700M GT. I would think a 9500M GS could probably do it. Of course, considering the laptop I have its expected to run just fine.... zipper
The only benchmark I found left 9500M GS a little behind 8700M GT.
Nuggstein
then what the hell is wrong?! it's a completely formatted system, just reinstalled windows, have updated drivers...what the hell could be the problem?
Bill
Does software phsyx work good? How much RAM does your card have?
