Lorenz Posted October 28, 2008 Report Share Posted October 28, 2008 hi there I just tried to install the new nVIDIA ForceWare X 180.43 driver but it didn't work. i did everything exact the same way it was discribed in the tutorial. after installing i rebooted my laptop and suddenly had poor resolution and only 2 bit of colour depth. So i removed the new driver and searched for solutions and similar problems but i couldnt find any. I hope you guys can help me out. zipper Posted October 29, 2008 Report Share Posted October 29, 2008 If your old driver is very different (= much older) than the new one, it may leave disturbing remnants as the uninstall process isn't necessarily 100% proof to get rid of everything.
