Pistino01
no i didnt overclock my gpu . but i have uninstalled the drivers and installed stock ones 176.26 and my laptop is much cooler . but my performance is still laggy in games and it wasnt . tho my cpu is quite warm 50-55 celsius while gameing . any idea why is this ? there is no dust inside and my laptop is only about a month old . thx , Pistino01
Claw
my cpu is quite warm 50-55 celsius while gameing That's not really a high temp. You still haven't posted your GPU's temp, but if it doesn't go above 90 degrees then you shouldn't be worried.
zipper
tho my cpu is quite warm 50-55 celsius while gameing . Laptop CPUs are constructed to tolerate temperatures over 70 C, which they do tolerate easily. I just ran a stress test with SiSoft Sandra, and the core temps were 72 C - CoreTemp program shows the Tj. Max temp is 100 C!
Pistino01
yah well my gpu temp is about 80 celsius in crysis-game and 50 idle . but still im getting kinda laggy performance i thought it was driver related but now i think its not . any ideas why my games are running so s***ty on my laptop after a month ? and wich driver do u suggest for new games like crysis , far cry 2 , etc. ? for my laptop. furthermore one of my cpu cores is warmer than the other 1. 42 celsius . 2. 35 celsius , even in gaming . is this normal?? thx , Pistino01 Edited November 3, 2008 by Pistino01
Guest Guest Myloch
not so bad man not so bad... I have 9600m gt and I usually get 75C-80C with most demanding games, I heard that this is tolerable. Just make sure to tilt your laptop rear for a better airflow and often clean fans and air grids
