Thomaskc
Hi everyone I was wondering if anyone has any information on wether windows 7 is supporting vista drivers since the platform is mostly the same or how things work there? Maybe someone has had a chance to look at the beta of windows 7 and can tell us something :) I cant seem to find anything about nvidia releasing any preview drivers for the beta so im a bit confused. Dox
hi thomaskc, windows 7 is "backwards"compatible with vista drivers like windows 2000 and XP drivers are compatible. ATI has already release a windows 7 preview driver. Not sure if nvidia will do the same, i dont see th point sinc 99% of folk dont even have acess to a beta build of the OS yet!. Thomaskc
So nvidia drivers for vista run on winodws7 as it is now?
Whitedragon551
Yes. The kernel is supposed to be almost identical. They arent doing the "minwin" for compatibility purposes.

Thomaskc
I figured, and thanks for the fast response, they changed the way you change between the style layout from aero, basic and standard :) but found it just now. Thomaskc
Do any of you recognize these problems? Turbo memory wont install (intel chipset drivers and stuf wont), and most wierd of all, Skype closes itself after around 10secs! no matter if you do something or just lets it sit tight.. then it exits. it all works, if you are very fast you can get a call going for 1-2 secs before it just quits... pretty strange hehe
