Guest blitzpwnage Posted November 11, 2008 Report Share Posted November 11, 2008 Alright i have located the problem with my laptop i ave a DV9000 with a 7600 go series nvidia GPU, i have uninstalled the driver completely but i cant find i driver to install please guide me, another thing is i can start it up but i get these black lines on my screen and it doesnt work, i can use a VGA monitor though. :) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

As far as the black line scenario a little more info is required. ill install the driver and see if it does the trick, i have ran a driver cleaner but before the crash per se i was using a driver called Xtreme G mobile or something. Guest Guest blitz Posted November 15, 2008 Report Share Posted November 15, 2008 I have installing the new driver yet nothing happens, sorry for the late reply but i was busy all week, anyway i am getting desperate and am ready to just do a system recovery, i get ablue screen when i boot up saying it couldnt reset the video driver, even when i have used program after program to whip the driver off then install a new one.
