Guest Captain351 Posted November 11, 2008 Report Share Posted November 11, 2008 I have been working on Installing a dual booted Vista 64 and XP Laptop for about a week now. It shipped with Vista 64 and I am trying to install XP on a HP DV5-1000us Intel based laptop. I have managed to locate and install every single driver and program needed except for a working display driver. Vista says it has a GeForce 9200M video but I have as yet been unable to get drivers installed. I have tried many different drivers all of which give me the dreaded (The Specified Loation Does Not Contain Information About Your Hardware). I have tried: 176.28 177.98 178.24 179.23 180.43 All with modded INF where possible. I have tried to read and understand how to choose the correct driver for my laptop but I must not be grasping something or it would be working by now.
