eleron911
I'm trying this out in a second, since 180.42 and 178.24 gave me horrible image quality...

Guest Dan
I don't understand.. would this work with a Geforce 8600M GT? yeh they do. I'm running them on the 8600M GT on m MBP. Work fine and are faster than the 167s i had before. I'm no expert, though.
Guest Nick
yeh they do. I'm running them on the 8600M GT on m MBP. Work fine and are faster than the 167s i had before. I'm no expert, though. Even though they work, does anyone recommend using these "originally for Quadro" drivers for the 8600M GT? Should I stick with something that originally was not Quadro? Sorry I'm still quite new to this all. Thanks!
Guest PeterJo
Hi all, What is the meaning of this for example: [DEV_019E] NVIDIA Quadro FX 4600 I have a feeling that it is not a graphic card model. Am I right or? I am looking for my graphic card model Go 7600, but it's not on the scrolling list available in this thread, so that is why I ask. Thanks! :)
Inspiron1520
Not sure everything's quite right with these drivers. Yesterday I was gaming on battery with the video card overclocked (admittedly probably not the best of ideas) when I alt-tabbed to the desktop, then back to the game, the screen went blank for a fraction of a second, and all of a sudden a bunch of colors were inverted. Restarting the program fixed it. I used the laptop a couple more times on battery after that with hibernations in between. But when I started my laptop today (after AC charging), the screen was black and it beeped at me once every minute or so (but it did resume the song I had been playing midway through, so it was certainly doing something). I had to hard-reboot, and was not surprised to see a Serious Error message. More surprising was that I was/am still in 4-bit color mode at 800x600 only, and that when I right-click-> Properties on the desktop, I get this notice: ???? Written for a previous version of Windows? These are supposed to be XP x86 drivers for XP x86. Oddly, I also received this error with Dell's official 174.31 drivers awhile back, so perhaps this error is in all the 170 drivers. Since I conveniently downloaded Dox's 181.20 drivers yesterday I think I'll give them a shot since these seem rather shot themselves right now. But I wouldn't recommend these - there's something that's certainly not quite right with them.
