yrneh12
So I recently decided to update my drivers (from the out of box state to 178.24) and I have been experiencing a strange problem. Before, whenever I was in FireFox or anything that involved viewing a large document, dragging the bar at the right (the scroll bar) would have no "lag". What I mean by this is the bar would not lag behind the cursor, staying with the mouse constantly. Now it would fall behind the mouse if I move it too fast to view the bottom of the page. Is this a problem caused by the driver, and if so, what's a good driver that allows me to play games without them crashing (reason why I even updated in the first place) while maintaining the integrity of the scroll bar? Thanks a lot. Dell Inspiron 1520 Intel Core 2 Duo 2.2 GHz RAM 4GB (with 32 bit Vista, downed to 3) nVidia 8600M GT 512 mb
anonymous1986
176.44 works best for me for gaming and general use. 178.13/15 aren't too shabby either though one of them gives me scroll lag.
Covert
Scroll lag is because of Powermizer doing it's work. Use the latest drivers (180.43) and then follow this tutorial: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=261929 Edited November 12, 2008 by Covert
