Hello Guys,

I have an issue with my MSI-GX620 and its Nvidia 9600M GT. If i check the PCIe Bandwidth with external power connection GPUZ shows me PCIe 16x @ 16x but if i disconnect the cable it's PCIe x16@x1. If i disconnect the cable while i am playing CS:S or any other game the FPS immediately reduce to a 10, so i am unable to play. I deactivated any Power Saving Controls in my BIOS and the Powermizer but I have still the same issue.

I hope you can help me to fix this problem.

Best regards Julian

PS: I hope you'll understand my german english :)

Yes there's written following:

(my windows version is german so it's not word by word)

Energy scheme "Desktop" (it stays on Desktop when i disconnect the cable"

"Power off Screen" = After 5 min

"Power off Harddisk" = After 10 min

"Standby" = After 10 min

MSI System Control Manager (XP/Vista 32 bit):

http://global.msi.eu/index.php?func=downlo...mp;prod_no=1529

Also Chipset is on this page:

http://global.msi.eu/index.php?func=downlo...mp;prod_no=1529

And BIOS update here:

Worth trying if you haven't already.

Yeah that'd be worth trying if you are running out of options.
