Ok, my laptop has always been kinda underwhelming, never ran UT3 at a smooth 40fps+ or anything (20s, i think). It's temperatures go way high when I'm gaming too, here are the specs:

alienware and it has:

1.66 dual core intel

2 gb ddr ram

nvidia 8700m gt

Maybe its a CPU bottleneck?

If not try using 178.13, thats a good driver or the 180.70
