Guest piero Posted December 3, 2008 Report Share Posted December 3, 2008 hi to everybody, I have a video card nvidia geforce go 7900 GS bought in USA 1 year ago in my 3438g, the card has worked very well always, but some days ago my brother has flash the vbios with that of the 7900 GTX / 7950 GTX, now the notebook don't boot. the video card is the same of this link under, please somebody can pass me the bios of the 7900 GS, and then you have some suggestion to make a blind flash with boot-cd? thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

aliveanddead86 Posted December 3, 2008 Report Share Posted December 3, 2008 (edited) The 7900GS has 2 revsions... Which means if you flash a rev1 7900GS with a rev0 7900GTX, it WONT WORK! You need to match up the revision numbers. I had the same problem before i discovered this. Guest piero Posted December 3, 2008 Report Share Posted December 3, 2008 thanks to everybody, the problem is that i don't remember what bios i previously had, because my brother made this damned vbios flash. for this reason i have put a photo link in my first post, if I don't remember badly, the seller tell me that the card was for an alienware m9700... if somebody have the same card, please post the bios. thx.
