Guest suprafan
I dont think that is so complicted to install it with registry cleaner and things like that. When i want to install it, the system tell me that a file or something is missing so it cant install the driver. I have one question, could you maybe ore the driver mader test the driver to see what I mean. Because every driver worked until the 180.84. So please test(just install it ans see what happend) it. Thank you :) 9600m gt

Guest Alex610
I download the driver but how can I modify the .inf for my graphics card ? (I'm not really good in informatic and i'm french)
Nitroin
I download the driver but how can I modify the .inf for my graphics card ? (I'm not really good in informatic and i'm french) Double click on the downloaded driver would only extract the files. One time extracted just paste the pre-modded files in the directory where the driver have been extracted.

Andrew55
That's because you didn't use the modded inf. You won't get that message if you replace the original inf with the one provided here.

Guest chinesechicken
As you can see I have already installed the driver. See the attachments.I have download the driver here: http://www.nzone.com/object/nzone_gtaiv_downloads.html And manually modified the .inf for my graphics card. Just wanted to let everyone know, i also couldn't install using the exe downloaded from here... strangely enougfh it didn't give me any error, it just acts like it's installing and then at the end it says Your System has not been modified, then asks you to restart etc... and nothing happens. The driver didn't install at all. But i went to nvidia site and download the official drivers, then use the modified ini from here, and it works. Now, i will try some benchmarks. Guest chinesechicken
Ugghh... i think these are slightly worse. FPS dropped by 3-4, compared to my stock drivers (forceware 174.something)
the one jedimaster
yup something is wrong with these drivers and i also used the drivers from nzone and then tried putting the modded inf in and it also said my system wasn't modified ... odd ... my Gfx card quadro FX 1600M UPDATE: Well the problem solved itself ... after saying it didn't modify my system i ran a restart and the screen went oddly black before bumping into windows and then ... guess what ... my full resolution kicked in and it found my Graphics card and everything ...weird ... it seems the driver installs even though it says it doesn't it just takes a restart or two ... Guest Floki
I have downloaded and installed this driver. Befor that I were able to set the screen resolution till 1680x1050, but now the screen resolution goes only till 1024x768. Can anybody help me and tell me what I have to do to get the high resolution back?
burfadel2
I'm guessing the re-released 180.84 is just a few changes to the inf file. Any other changes would make it a new release (such as 180.85)! The file dates may be different, but it would be interesting if someone could run a file compare on the two releases. If there are any major changes then its strange why they didn't call it a different version number.
Galdere
Apart from the languages help files, these are the differences for files and sizes between the NZone and nVidia.co.uk Vista x64 versions of 180.84. Maybe someone more familiar with them could let us know if this indicates anything more than internationalization please?
