Clean14 Posted December 9, 2008 Report Share Posted December 9, 2008 are these drivers safe to use with an inspiron 1520 with an Nvidia Geforce 8600M GT? how do these drivers work differently from the dell generic drivers? do these drivers risk my hard ware at all, such as over clocking and other dangerous risks to hard ware? and if it is 100% safe with no risk to the hard ware, where what driver on this site is the best for my system? thanks for reading Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Each driver will have different performance or quality improvements. you will need to test each driver to see what works best with your system. have a look here to get a quick summery of each driver. But remember that this might not be accurate for your system. http://forums.laptopvideo2go.com/index....5&hl=8700gt you will need to download the driver you want. as well as the modified inf file. then extract the driver to a folder then copy the modified inf file into that same folder. then run setup.exe done!
