dutch
Hai guy's, I'm new here and, i hope i'm in the right topic. I can buy a two months old lenovo T500 for about 50% of the new price. It's a basic version of the T500 with the build in ( Mobile Intel® 4 Serie Express Chipset Family GMA X4500HD 256MB ). Core 2 Duo P8400 / 2.26 GHz procesor. The question is, is it possible to upgrade on a later moment the T500 with the ATI Mobility Radeon HD3650 card. I can imagen that Lenovo uses the same mainboard for al the T500 models. When, then there must be a (MXM ?) slot onboard. Can you please help me out. Thanks, Dutch.
Guest Suigi
Can I upgrade a T500 with the GMA X4500MHD to the Mobility Radeon HD 3650? Only if you feel like replacing the motherboard, buddy. Does the T500 use MXM cards? Nope. They actually have entirely different SKUs for the basic and dedicated graphics models.
