Guest p_asmanov
Hello, I want to try the 64bit version of Windows Vista Ultimate with the Service Pack 1. I found drivers for my laptop (Acer Aspire 5520), at Acer's support website, but they are for Windows Vista 64bit only. The section with Windows Vista SP1, doesn't include a 64bit driver. So my question is, will my laptop run properly on Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit SP1, with the drivers for Windows Vista Ulitmate 64bit? Thank you. Guest Guest
Well, I thought it will be easier to ask first, than installing it, finding out that It doesn't work, and than install it again. Or maybe I'm lazy :) ... Anyway, thanks for the advise, now I'm more convinced in my acts.
Michael Marley
If your laptop is Intel-based then there is a very good chance it will work properly with 64-bit Windows, because Intel is good about releasing 64-bit drivers. I do not know about AMD, though.
