Danchel
Hi everyone! I'm looking for some help to update my laptop's driver. My laptop is an acer aspire 5520, windows vista 32 bit, graphics card is NVIDIA 7000M nForce 610M. I bought the game Gears of Wars for pc but I cannot run it in my computer. Meanwhile I saw one that could help me, version 179.14 or check this link http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/drivers/vista/179.14 . Let me know if this would work and how to installed. I'll deeply aprecciate any help! Danchel
Andrew55
If you enjoy slideshows instead of gaming, then by all means go ahead and try to play it. Gears of War is unplayable on this system even with overclocking which I don't think you should attempt on this system. For maximum performance, what i suggest is try the 177.92 drivers (they perform better than the 179.14 on this card) with my inf provided in my sig (optional). Good luck! servac7
try some benchmarks using newer and older drivers
Andrew55
I get 2366 3dmark03 points on the 177.92 drivers with overclocking.
zipper
Phew, that's 70% of what my go5700 did 4 years ago - must say not for gaming :)
Andrew55
Yes, very much not for gaming! Not that much better than an FX5200 either,
Mushu
It can probably play some modern games but not the new graphic intensive ones. You should also turn off PowerMizer as well. Edited December 17, 2008 by Shaythong
