zipper
178.24, 178.26, 179.14 are known good drivers, and then look at Dox optimized drivers, too.

Guest Guest
In my experience, the best driver for my 8400M GS GDDR3 has been 179.28, 179.13, and 180.84 (in that order). The newest 179.28 driver gives nice performance and stability, and has 2D clocks as opposed to 179.13 which only goes down to low power 3D (which reduces battery life). 180.84 has been the strongest driver, but gave me serious artifacting and hardware malfunctions.
