naick
Well, I was trying to overclock my nvidia 9300M G a little bit, with the 180.84 driver using rivatuner. Overclocking didnt work, it just reversed to default. So I tried underclocking it. I set it to 395 instead of 400 and that worked. However, I tried reverting it to 400 again, but now it keeps jumping back to 395 :) This is not a big issue, but nonetheless, Id like to get it back to 400 again. Does anyone know how to fix this? and a second thing: how can I get the overclocking working? info: standard 180.84 driver rivatuner 2.21 Thanks for any help. PS: the 8400M G should be 9300M G on the left hand side. Edited December 18, 2008 by naick
Michael Marley
Have you tried rebooting the PC? If this does not work, uninstalling, scrubbing, and reinstalling the driver would most definitely fix the problem.

Michael Marley
Driver version 169.04 was famous for its ability to overclock even the locked cards. This is an old driver now, though.
Guest Guest
u can overclock by modding the vga bios, and then it will work with any driver, that is what i have done to my 9300g (on an asus laptop)
