kalo86
Hi to all Community, I'm Kalo, I'm Italian. I hope I can describe my questions. I have a notebook, ASUS A4S-Q002H. The right model is on the list of the MXM-Upgrade table, and I am figuring out that my laptop has a MXM III type B. But searching on line for some Nvidia Geforce cards, I have created a big confusion about the right dimension of the video-card. In this moment, the laptop has a NVidia GeForce 6600 GO 128 MB. Can someone help me saying what kind of NVidia Card I can upgrade? Best regards. Edited December 29, 2008 by kalo86
wook
must be a 15" laptop iwth type II correct? never the less.. www.mxm-upgrade.com is probably your best bet if you want to upgrade. or contact asus directly then you wont need to look into bios changes etc.
kalo86
Yes, it has a 15'' display. But can I know what graphic card can I mount? Edited December 29, 2008 by kalo86
wook
i know for sure that the 8600 9500 9600 gt cards are MXM II. Unfortunately 9700 8800 and 9800 are MXM III. Although i did read that the 9800 GTX is MXM II as well. (i cant confirm that as i read it from posts) these are not that trust worthy.
