adlai
I have a lenovo t61p. It has the quadro fx570. I like the card very much. It handles team fortress 2 like a champ. I want to start playing games like assassin's creed or prince of persia on my laptop. I read somewhere that it's possible to hack the quadro to think it's a geforce (same underlying hardware) so to improve game performance. How do I do this? Would it be worth the effort and danger to system stability? I looked at the driver and apparently it was last updated in 2006, so there should be room to improve. any help would be appreciated. Michael Marley
I have heard of people hacking GeForces to think that they were Quadros, but never the other way around. If your card loses any performance because it is a Quadro rather than a GeForce, it it minimal. I would recommend keeping it like it is. zipper
Don't bother. Just get a new driver. The performance difference between a quadro and geforce is somewhere between 0 - 1 %. 179.28 is a good one to try.
