The driver is Nvidia MCP67M(compaq website give this) or GeFORCE GO 7150M/nforce 630m(but the casing of laptop say it is this),128MB. ITS DRIVER VERSION IS 175.71 and IT IS A ORIGINAL DRIVER FROM COMPAQ`S WEBSITE. i am using vista 32bit. i have upgrade my RAM to 3GB. i notice when i play game,it become terible laggy after i play only for few minutes! but this only happen when i play game of higher graphic like counter strike source,command & conquer tiberian sun 3,red alert 3,need for speed carbon EVEN I HAVE CHANGE ALL THE GRAPHIC SETTING TO LOW. it did not happen if i play red alert 2,warcraft 3.......... i know its normal if the game laggy in a high graphic game,BUT THE PROBLEM IS.....I HAVE A FRIEND WHO USING A LAPTOP AS SAME AS ME(V3828AU) WHO DO NOT HAVE THIS PROBLEM!! we both use vista 32bit!! STATIM Posted January 1, 2009 Report Share Posted January 1, 2009 Maybe your GPU gets to hot! Do you have a check tool, like the nVidia Sidebar gadget, which i use? zipper Posted January 1, 2009 Report Share Posted January 1, 2009 I'd say such speed problems that creep in after some time are mostly brought by overheating components but may be promoted by software.
