Dell latitude D820 haywireness

Hi ltv2go peoples...

I'm pretty much over my head here, and am hoping that one of you patient souls will give me some advice. I have looked around your site a fair amount, but am too much of a novice to understand much of what I need to know. I think that even though I have a Dell, and NVidia wants to send me to Dell for drivers, that I can use your tools to install newer drivers than Dell has.

I have a Dell Latitude D820, Vista Ult 32 with a Quadro NVS 120m. I'll try to upload some jpgs with system info, but in case it doesn't work, here's where the jpgs can be seen:

Here are my NVidia control panel settings:

My problem is with my CAD program. SoftPlan's web site says I need "a video card capable of supporting a minimum of Open GL 2.0, DirectX version 9.0 and a minimum Shader Model Support Version 3.0" I don't know that I need a new driver, or if I just need to adjust some settings in the control panel to fix my issues, and hopefully to pick up some speed - it's really slow. Here are shots showing what is happening:

I can follow directions to download and use your tools and install a driver, I just need some help to know if that's what I should do. And if you could point me to the right driver - that would be great.

Thanks much for your help...

Bruce
