Jason22
Vista CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo P7350 ( Dual-Core ) GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT - 512 MB I just bought an Acer Aspire 5930G laptop for my college work and also private use. But im having problems to watch 720p and 1080p properly on this, the sound is out of sync and the video keeps skipping or lacks and sometimes. Before i bought the laptop, i checked with everyone and they were all saying it plays hd with no problems if i update the driver. The laptop came with GeForce Release 179 and it wasnt playing hd smootly, so i upgrated to ForceWare X 180.70 from here and there was a slight improvements but it is still very unstable and sound is out of sync. So of course i tryed to upgrate to 181.20 but i couldnt at the very end of the installation i get and error answer and same was with ForceWare X 185.20 error. Of course i used modded INF but it wont install :) . So what am i doing wrong or is this not for my gpu ? Sometimes I can watch the movie for maybe 5 min and then this bugs happen, thats what i mean with unstable and it is very annoying :) . This makes me also believe that the problem is not the laptops spesifics as the cpu and gpu seem to be powerful enough. Can some please tell me what drivers version work on my gpu ? Or what else the issue could be ? Anyone with the same gpu or experience with it ? Right now im running ForceWare X 180.70 and the movies are unwatchable. Here is link for complete spesifics: http://www.komplett.no/k/ki.aspx?sku=375531 Edited January 19, 2009 by Jason22
