Hello this is my first post here i really really need help.

Well i've got an aspire 6920g nv9500m gs well i just wanted to upgrade my gpu drivers to gain a little more

i tried various drivers from this site and i also tried the official nvidia laptop driver which was 179.XX something

the problem is that when im trying to use any other driver except for the ones that acer provides i get the following problems

1) standby mode doesnt work properly (when im trying to wake the laptop from standby all i got is a black screen).

2) sometimes laptop freezes and and showing up garbled images.

3) cant adjust anymore the gpu power voltage from the acer empowering menu (the option is gone)

Can anyone suggest me a driver version that will work properly on my laptop?

or can someone guide me on how to solve this issues?

any suggestions are very welcomed :)

I suggest you try the drivers DOX's, thanks to his work these drivers are very stable. You have to try to find a few who will be the most fit, here is a link to these drivers :
