The purchase was made directly to BestBuy for a friend who was working in the U.S., enjoyed a promotion where the price of $ U849, 00 fell to $ 649.00, converting into a real difference of nearly U.S. $ 500.00 .. BestBuy http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1218012522418 DESIGN Finally I like the color black gold, I found the body quite rigid and keys make little noise and has a finish that is pleasant to the touch but leaves much to show dirt (brand of fingers). The LCD, that business is good, now become fashionable to finish this brilliant, really is very beautiful but reflects all. The noise is low and not too uncomfortable and the temperature is not enough to be cause for monitoring. The region of heating is in the top right there on the side where the exhaust air from cooling the processor. The shortcut buttons are well prepared, and in black, mix with the body. There is a small aluminum finishing where are the LED indicators to use disk, Num Lock and Caps Lock. The LED indicators of status, power, and Bluetooth wireles, are located in the lower left edge in low relief which does not bother to enter. The USB ports are well distributed. Photos Carcass: Connections: PERFORMANCE Once the note arrived, I did a general test, format, swapped the Windows version, played and then swapped for a T5800 processor T7500, so the review was done with T7500 processor. Mobile Intel Core 2 Duo T5800 http://processorfinder.intel.com/det...px?sSpec=SLB6E Intel ® Core 2 Duo T7500 Mobile http://processorfinder.intel.com/det...px?sSpec=SLAF8 Possible combinations of processors: http://ark.intel.com/chipset.aspx?familyID=35515 The performance is very good, considering that Vista Ultimate seems an anti-operational system, the note has behaved very well. The video card, Nvidia GeForce 9300M GS, 512MB DDR2, supports the airport in a good, you can even run some games with a good FPS, as in others, the gameplay is compromised. Did some tests with Spore, DOOM3, FarCry2, among other games that I have here. Notebookchek, nVidia 9300M GS: http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-...GS.9452.0.html C-NET Review: http://reviews.cnet.com/laptops/asus...-33309982.html NotebookReview.com Review: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=309113 Notebookchek, article on upgrade of video cards: http://www.notebookcheck.net/Upgrade...rd.3236.0.html CONNECTIVITY Doors well distributed, and an HDMI output eSATA, I lacked the Bluetooth opnião only, I do not know if Bluetooth module is sold separately. LCD SCREEN The screen is glossy finish, widescreen 1280x800, the contrast is very good. Positioned to three centimeters from the top edge of the lid, the LCD seems to be a little low, the position should have been closer to the edge, the webcam is about seven millimeters in height. BATTERY of lithium ion, 11.1V, 4800mAh. STRONG POINTS - Good time of the battery - Keyboard comfortable, soft, loose with nothing ... - Good heat dissipation ... - Housing and durable, very hard ... - Price WEAK POINTS - LCD poorly positioned and with glossy finish. - Missing Bluetooth connectivity. CONCLUSION User satisfied with the investment.
