Coolvibes
Hello this is a nvidia board but i found a old discussion about my problem in news board and posted a question there but the topic will not go to the top making very few people read it since is from 2007. so I tried to open a new thread in the news section but was not possible Is it okey I can ask this here? My problem: When i copy large files from my External Iomega HD with FAT to my Toshiba laptop running Vista home after a while i get "not enouch memory" when copying files I can copy big files for sometime but then suddenly i get this error. after this i cant even copy smale files until i Reboot PC. I read here about this Hotfix: http://forums.laptopvideo2go.com/index....mp;#entry109913 I had it installed Last year and it worked like a charm but now i have formated pc Should i install the Hotfix again or install SP1 is the hotfix now in SP1 since it didnt made it before to the early SP1 release in 2007 Hope someone can help me with this since i'm stuck now and dont know what to do I cant get the backed up files over from my external HD since i keep getting very often the "Not enough memory" Also as soon as the memory leak ocurrs Copying big files in the same Pc (like from C:/ to C:/ ) also give this error having to reboot to fix it Edited March 18, 2009 by Coolvibes
Coolvibes
I installed SP 1 now and it seem it solved the problem if this is the case then I can confirm the Hotfix is included in Sp1 But was probaly not included in the early Sp1RC back in 2007 So if someone is uncertain if to install the hotfix or Sp1 then just install Sp1 and it work In my opinion is best to install Sp1 after a clean install on windows I Dowloaded Sp1 from here: http://www.microsoft.com/Downloads/details...;displaylang=en But i forgot to choose spanish language before installing and i didnt get any option to choose between 32 and 64 bit (I have 32 bit vista) Will this make any problem for me?
